SIMPARCH formed in 1996 in southern New Mexico. The group was comprised of transplants to the area that discovered their shared interest in the social nature of art and experimental building practices. SIMPARCH evolved into an artist group notable for their site-specific installations. SIMPARCH continues to work on installations, commissions, and an array of ventures with a variety of partners.
